Backed has no account system and no server that receives your purchases. We cannot see, sell or share them. Receipt scanning When you add a receipt photo, Backed reads the text with Apple's on-device text recognition to suggest the store, date and total. When you add a receipt photo, Backed reads the store name, date and total using Apple's on-device text recognition. Nothing is uploaded. Always check the filled-in details before saving; you can edit any field. I'm not getting reminders. Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Backed and allow notifications. In Backed, go to Settings → Reminders and make sure reminders are on and at least one "before a warranty ends" option is selected. Reminders arrive at 9:00 on the chosen day.
